Tautomerism

Existence of tautomers is known as tautomerism.

Most tautomerisms lie by far in one direction, indicating that tautomers are very different in stability.  For instance, in the above system only about 6 x 10 ¯5 % is 2, indicating 1 is much more stable than 2.
